November 25, 2014:
Woke up with a Alarm on my Andriod Galaxy at 6.00 AM. I had a meeting at FRB at 8.30 AM. This was MFRAME demo to them for the Nth time. It had been an internal struggle to rally support behind doing pitches for MFRAME for FRB. I remember the earliest demo was 2 years back. Making my meeting time at 8.30 with an hour of commute and leaving 15 minutes for prep time meant leaving at 7: 05 and taking the 7.25 AM BART train to San Francisco.
As always, I put 2 alarms 10 minutes apart, so when the first alarm rang at 6.00 AM, I snoozed it as I knew that another alarm was due in 10 minutes. Anyways after the second alarm rang, I snoozed it and closed my eyes with the confidence that i will get up. I am not sure whats about sleep that me not think logically. I think its just matter over mind, if such a thing exists.
Anyways, i slept after the second alarm and woke up to find it was already 6:26 AM. I panicked and got immediately to the bathroom. thought twice before shaving (thought I could pass on the stubble as movember (I even looked it up on my phone to see whats it for). Finally decide to shave and have a bath. panicked again after looking at the watch after bathing (7.00 AM already). left in a hurry and finally caught the train at 7.25 AM.
The meeting was blah, the expert is such a thickhead, cannot read the customer nuances and cannot answer a question straight. Anyways, I had to intervene once or twice to keep him on track. There were a few action items from the meeting.
The day overall was ok. The brightspot was when I decided to go to my daughter's Anya art class and read books to my other daughter Aira while we were waiting. After Anya returned, she took me back to look at the painting she had done
